The trip to Costa Rica and Nicaragua changed me completely, and assured me that medicine was the ultimate career for me. I almost consider myself a student doctor! Yes, this experience may sound too good to be true to an undergraduate, but it is the truth. I assisted real patients; in fact, I worked side-by-side with actual medical doctors.
